YouTube demonetised my entire channel under the official label “Unsatisfying or off-putting content” — the morning after I submitted a formal complaint about a YouTube Creator Support manager.

I cannot prove that my complaint caused the demonetisation. However, the documented timeline raises serious questions that YouTube should answer transparently.

Before this happened, I contacted Creator Support about measurable discoverability and distribution anomalies affecting The Mechanics of Toxic Relationships.

The evidence included:

• A 96.8% decline in Suggested Videos impressions
• 28 public videos with poor or no Google exact-title visibility
• Multiple videos absent or severely buried in YouTube exact-title searches
• Strong organic watch time when YouTube actually showed the content
• An unexplained invalid-traffic event that I did not create, purchase, direct or manipulate
• No clear explanation of what technical checks were performed

I sent Rick, a manager on the YouTube Support team, additional analytics showing that this was not simply the same complaint being repeated.

His response included:

“Finality is what you badly need now.”

He also warned that YouTube would no longer respond to further contact about the unresolved issue.

I considered that email dismissive and unprofessional, so I submitted a formal complaint about Rick’s conduct.

The following morning, my channel was demonetised for “Unsatisfying or off-putting content.”

This video presents the analytics, search evidence, correspondence and complete chronology so viewers can examine the facts and reach their own conclusions.

Questions YouTube should answer:

What specific content was considered unsatisfying or off-putting?

Which videos supposedly failed YouTube’s monetisation standards?

When did the channel review begin?

Was it initiated before or after my formal complaint?

Was the support manager involved in escalating the channel for review?

Did the late-June invalid-traffic event affect the channel’s classification, trust signals or recommendation eligibility?

I am not claiming that the timing proves retaliation. I am asking YouTube to explain the documented sequence and provide the evidence behind its decision.

Many creators assume stagnant video distribution is just part of the algorithm, but sometimes it signals a deeper technical error. I spent weeks documenting my channel's visibility issues to present a compelling case to the official support team. This breakdown covers the specific evidence required to open an internal review and get a human agent to look at your backend data.

If your search visibility has flatlined without explanation, you need to know if you are fighting a content strategy issue or a platform glitch. I detail the interaction I had with YouTube creator support, including the frustrations of the ticket system and the ultimate outcome of my escalation request. By reviewing my experience, you can decide if your channel warrants a similar formal inquiry.
